If you’ve noticed odd icons, cryptic words, or out-of-place numbers lately — you’re not imagining things. The #STEPNEMBER4 Seed Phrase Hunt is live, and the clues are scattered across content and channels for you to find.

TL;DR: Solve the 12 seed words (and order) for either the STEPN or STEPN GO wallet, move the 1:1 Genesis to the matching app, and you could receive up to $7,000 USD in GMT per wallet — $14,000 USD total if you claim both.

What’s the Seed Phrase Hunt?

• Two wallets are part of the hunt, one for STEPN (OG) and one for STEPN GO.
• Each wallet has 13 clues hidden in public content.
• Your goal is to discover the 12 seed words (and the correct order) to unlock the wallet.
• If you succeed, transfer the 1:1 Genesis to the corresponding app before the snapshot to be eligible for prizes.

What can you win?

• Each wallet contains a 1:1 Genesis Sneaker.
• The holder receives $1,000 USD in GMT per unique #STEPNEMBER4 skin they hold for that app at snapshot time.
  • Up to $7,000 USD in GMT per wallet (STEPN or STEPN GO).
  • $14,000 USD in GMT total if someone manages to claim both.
• Unique skins count; duplicates don’t stack.
• STEPN skins count toward the STEPN Genesis; GO skins count toward the GO Genesis.

Important: prizes are in GMT, and the 1:1 must be in the matching app before the snapshot.

How to Contribute (Without Spoilers)

Please don’t post seed words — just the counts and clue numbers you’ve spotted. This keeps the hunt fair and still helps everyone track what’s live.

Pro Tips for Hunters

• Look everywhere. Clues can be implicit or explicit; sometimes they’re a tiny icon or a stray number in a visual.
• Verify the three parts of each clue:
  1. its number (1–13),
  2. which app it belongs to (STEPN or STEPN GO),
  3. the word itself (don’t post publicly!).
• Keep a private log for your own ordering attempts. The order matters.
• If you crack a wallet, transfer the 1:1 Genesis immediately to the correct app to be eligible for the prize; a snapshot is taken shortly after the transfer.

Quick Recap: #STEPNEMBER4 (Weeks 1–4)

While the Seed Phrase Hunt runs, STEPNEMBER4 has delivered four themed weeks and 12 collectible skins. Collecting all six skins in either app grants a raffle entry for 10 Genesis Sneakers per app (Genesis pairs were bought on the marketplace).
Don’t forget: Snapshot is Sept 30 — skins must be in inventory (not listed).
